What is the deadline for rescheduling The date of a reservation?

    Hi there, Samantha!

Nice to meet you, thanks for your question!

Cancellation policies depend on what kind of reservation we are talking about, so I'll give you the basics for the most common reservation types:

    • If you're a Magic Key holder then you can cancel a theme park reservation as late as 11:59 PM Pacific Time the day before your visit. If you don't then you'll be considered a "no-show" and having three of those within 90 days will make it so you can't make new park reservations or modify existing ones for 30 days.
    • Regular theme park tickets don't have a no-show penalty, but it's still best to modify your theme park reservation as soon as you know that your plans are changing so you can get a new reservation.
    • The modification policy for dining reservations can vary a bit depending on location. You should check the cancelation policy for your specific dining location to find out when you can cancel or modify the reservation without charges.
Hopefully one of those answers your question! It's always a good idea to adjust your plans as early as possible, just so you can have more options to choose from when you reschedule.

I'm so excited for the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort to start on November 15, 2024! It really is the merriest time of year at the parks. If your arrival date this week doesn't work out then I hope you'll be able to head back to the parks a few days later for some holiday cheer! There's a great foodie guide to help you prep your snack list...and maybe even check it twice!

Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Samantha!

    Keep moving forward!
