I’m excited to see that you’re interested in using
MagicBands for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You’re going to love being able to access your
theme park tickets and
Lightning Lane reservations with just a touch of your MagicBand. It will add a lot of convenience to your day at the theme parks!
Once a MagicBand has been linked to a Guest in
My Disney Experience, that MagicBand cannot be transferred to another Guest. So if you have a deactivated MagicBand that has previously been used by a Guest, unfortunately, it cannot be transferred to a different Guest for your next vacation.
On the bright side of things, since this means that you’ll need to purchase a new MagicBand for your upcoming trip, it gives you the opportunity to purchase a MagicBand+, which was just released last month! These updated MagicBands still provide the same awesome functionality as the previous version of MagicBands, while giving Guests new features to interact with the theme parks in innovative new ways! I can’t wait for my first trip using MagicBand+ so I can really become part of the magic.
