Hi Jeffrey, welcome to planDisney!
I greatly appreciate your efforts to make your sister's Walt Disney World Resort vacation extra magical. On my honeymoon, my brother surprised me and my husband with a
gift basket at our Disney Resort hotel. I know Peter Pan recommends never growing up, but I sure love the fact that my "annoying" younger brother has grown into a friend.
MagicBands are a convenient
method of entry used at theme park entry, at Lightning Lane entrances, with Disney PhotoPass photographers, and more. MagicBands can only be linked to one person's My Disney Experience account or account profile and are nontransferable once linked. Unfortunately, this means your sister won't be able to use the MagicBands linked to your My Disney Experience account, even if they are listed as "Deactivated."
If your sister chooses to purchase her own MagicBand, note that
MagicBand+ must be linked to a My Disney Experience account, paired with a mobile device, and fully charged before use. Alternatively, your sister can download a
Disney MagicMobile pass to an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch, or Google Pay-enabled Android phone. Her third option is to stop by a theme park ticket window for an admission card; she should be prepared to show email confirmation of the ticket purchase, the method of payment used to purchase the tickets, and a photo ID.
Since you've visited Walt Disney World Resort before, Jeffrey, I encourage you to share your top must-dos with your sister. There's more to do than can ever be done on one vacation, and having a list of your recommendations will help give structure to her park days. My brother took his family to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time last summer and I told him not to miss Pirates of the Caribbean or the popcorn cart on Main Street, U.S.A.
Please return to planDisney when you're ready to plan your next Disney vacation.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
