My deactivated cards on the magic bands and cards page keeps defaulting to 'lost'. They aren't lost and I haven't said they are. Is this normal?

    Hello Emma,

As the current UK Mum here at planDisney, it really is my delight and pleasure to have the pixie-dusted opportunity of assisting you today with your super question concerning Keys to the World Cards and My Disney Experience.

I'm sure you'll already know that Guests can have a multitude of MagicBands and Keys to the World Cards linked to the My Disney Experience account - I know I do!  Plus, it's handy to understand that it's always possible within My Disney Experience to manage your MagicBands and Keys to the World Cards by simply toggling to activate, deactivate, or even reporting them as mislaid, or lost.

Emma, on your behalf I've taken a quick peek at my own MagicBands & Cards profile within my personal My Disney Experience account, and in doing so have played around by deactivating, and then reactivating both some MagicBands and Keys to the World Cards which I have stored there.

During my research, I didn't happen to encounter my MagicBands, or Keys to the World Cards defaulting to "Lost", so I am left a little unsure as to why you've been experiencing that particualr technical glitch.

Moving forward Emma, my best advice would be for you to speak in person with a knowledgeable Cast Member who will be able to fully access your My Disney Experience account and for sure, understand what's appearing to happen to your Keys to the World Cards.

To connect with a Cast Member, simply dial the UK freephone number for Website and Technical Support contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

It might be helpful to know that upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, Guests are more than welcome to request a new Keys to the World Card as they collect their purchased Magic Tickets with a Will Call eTicket voucher from a ticket booth at the entrance to any Disney Theme Park, or from the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

Emma, I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide a little magical insight for you today.  If you should have any further questions concerning an upcoming jolly holiday to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
