My DH, DD(will be 6), and my self will be going in Oct 2014 for 8 days. we are staying at the Polynesian and are looking to have breakfast at trailsend at fort wilderness. Is there a boat to there or do we need to go to my first then the boat over there?

Hi Jodi! My family loves the buffet breakfast at Trails End restaurant in the Fort Wilderness resort. The biscuits and gravy are yummy as well as the famous Mickey waffles but my husband can't get enough of the fresh sticky buns!

To get there from the Polynesian you would need to hop on the monorail and either get off at the Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary resort.  The boats between Fort Wilderness begin running about 30 minutes before park opening so be sure you are aware of your timing before using these boats. The boats between the Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness begin running about 6:30am so that is your best bet if you are dining early.  The Trails End restaurant is only steps away from the marina so it is very easy.

Be sure and give yourself some extra time to walk over to the Disney stables located next to Pioneer Hall. This is home to the Magic Kingdom horses and of course the beautiful white ponies that are used to pull Cinderella's coach. For the young ones they offer pony rides where you walk around a large loop.

To return to the Polynesian you would retrace your steps and take a boat back to the Contemporary or Magic Kingdom and then hop on the monorail to your resort. Have fun and enjoy!
