My DDs (4&6) have 4:30 pm makeovers at BBB in DD, then we have 8pm res at Chef Mickey's. How do we get there & how long could it take? Any chance to squeeze in a Monorail ride before or after? BTW, we'll have my 10 mo old DS & stroller in tow,

Hi Danielle, how fun! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is so enchanting!

From Downtown Disney, you will board a bus bound for the Contemporary Resort. I would plan on an at least an hour travel time. This is because the buses come approximately every 20 minutes and you never know if you've just missed a bus (so will need to wait a while for the next one) or if one is just around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule).

You'll likely want to spend some time exploring Downtown Disney after the Boutique, so I'd plan to be standing at the bus depot no later than 6:30. You are supposed to check-in at Chef Mickeys at least 15 minutes early. They'll be taking a family photo prior to seating you. So you'll want to be there by 7:45 at the very latest.

After dinner, you can head upstairs to hop on the monorail and ride it around the Resort loop with your family. I wouldn't recommend this before dinner as it can take a bit of time to get back to your starting point. When boarding at the Contemporary, the Resort Monorail runs from there to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), to the Polynesian, then Grand Floridian, then the Magic Kingdom and back to the Contemporary (and keeps looping). Depending on where you are staying, you may find that you want to get off at the Magic Kingdom and get on a bus headed to your Resort at that point.

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,
