Hello, we have  DDP. We have a 9 year old son that eats a lot. Does he have to stick to the kids menu always? We like our kids to try new and other countries food and sometimes kids menus are the same in all restaurants. Thank you.

Hi, Svetlana!   Since you are paying for a child's meal plan, your son will need to choose from the Kid's Menu if one is offered.   To avoid the "chicken nuggets/fries/mac and cheese" at every meal, you might want to try buffets where your son can eat as much as he want and is welcome to the complete buffet line.

In Epcot, try the buffet in Germany;  In China, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Sweet and Sour Chicken are on the menu. At Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose's offers a grilled fish with rice pilaf on the kid's menu.

There is a variety of offerings for kids.  I suggest you go to www.allears.net and go to DINING.  Look through the kids menus and select some restaurants that offer a nice variety that your son will enjoy.

Good luck and have fun with all the great dining options in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
