Is the DDP worth it for 2 adults and a 21month old? We like the idea of sit down meals each day, but typically we get no dessert and water when we eat out. We want to make sure it's a good deal for the price. Going Apr 26-30, 2012. Thank you!

    Hi Kimberly!

I'm not a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  However, many guests absolutely love it.  A lot of guests do save a lot of money on it, but some only save a little, and some guests actually spend more by being on a Disney Dining Plan!  I really can't make a recommendation, because I don't know what you would typically order off of a menu.

However, I do have some advice.  I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  There you can look at all of the menus for all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World and they include prices!  You can then figure out if the Dining Plan makes a lot of sense for your party.  The team at All Ears does a great job keeping their information up to date.

Whatever you do, be sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs).  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance and are extremely important!

    Good luck with your decision!
