    We have the DDP for our upcoming trip. My son will be 10 at the time of our trip. By Disney standards he is an adult, which means he gets adult dining credits. If he wants to order of the children's menu, can I pay for his meal and save the credit?

    Hello Dawn,

    Yes you can depending on the restaurant and their decision to let an adult eat off of the childs menu.  My daughter never eats large portions and I have never had a problem with her ordering off of the childs menu (even though she is considered an adult) but it is at the discretion of each individual restaurant whether or not they allow it.  Just thought that I would let you know that this could be an issue, although it hasn't ever been a problem for me.  You can use your meal credits however you wish and just because you are using the meal plan for one or two people, it doesn't mean the third guest in your party needs to eat or use their credit.  You can pay for whatever you like and save your credits (which I have done quite a lot) in order to eat at many of the Signature Dining Restaurants which would require 2 meal credits per person instead of just one.  Just make sure that all of your credits are used up by midnight on your check-out day or they will expire.  Happy eating!
