On the DDP for table meals if you order an alcoholic drink can you get soda as a refill or is just the one drink included? At the f+w booths if I use snack credits for food and pay for an alcoholic drink can they be rung up together or do I order seperate?

    Hi Matthew,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. When my family was on the Disney Dining Plan earlier this year, I had a blast choosing all the fun cocktails and specialty beverages. I love that you’re thinking about how to maximize the fantastic addition of these drinks to the 2018 Disney Dining Plan!

First and foremost, because this applies to both of your questions: always check with the Cast Member at the dining location. Whether it’s the server at your Table Service restaurant or the Cast Member at an Epcot International Food & Wine Festival booth, they have the most up-to-date information and magical know-how.

When dining at a Table Service location with your Disney Dining Plan, you are entitled to one drink per person. Like you, I like to order a soda along with a cocktail, and I am usually charged for the soft drink as it is considered a second drink.

At the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival booths (and, actually, anywhere you dine), you will likely need to split your Disney Dining Plan purchases and your out-of-pocket purchases into two transactions. I once had three receipts when dining at a Table Service restaurant because I was paying three different ways! The Cast Member handling the transaction will know how to handle it, and it should be quick and easy, as long as you’re clear about what you’re wanting to do when you make your order.

Matthew, enjoy every minute of your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! Autumn is such a fantastic time for a visit, and whether you’re tasting around the world or having spooky fun, you’re going to make some magical memories.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
