The DDP states that kids must order from a kids menu when available. However,I have heard that adult and kids counter service credits are the same and that I can order an adult meal instead of a kids meal. Is this true?

    Hi Emmalea!

Ahhh, the million dollar question!  In short, yes, you may use a child counter service meal credit to purchase an adult counter service meal.  That being said, there is a great debate out there regarding this very issue.  People seem to have very specific opinions on whether or not this constitutes "cheating the system."  In my opinion, if Disney considered it "cheating" they would nip it right in the bud!

I have done a lot of research on this question in the past and I even made several phone calls today, just to confirm my answer.  I was told by three separate cast members that Disney does NOT differentiate between a child's counter service credit and an adult's counter service credit.  However, this is not the case with table service, or sit down meals - absolutely a difference there!

Of course, this is only true at this point in time - Disney may change it without warning.  But as of now, Disney will allow you a reprieve from chicken nuggets - enjoy!
