    On DDP, many of the restaurants I'm interested in require 2 credits, like to narrow it down to maybe 2 that use 2 credits, help? Artists Point,Yachtsman Steakhouse, Brown Derby,California Grill(CG ate at on prev trip). Help! Thanks,always great advice

    Hi Roxanne,

    I am a huge fan of Disney's signature dining establishments.  I lived in New York before moving to the suburbs, and feel that many of the meals I've had at Disney exceed some of the best dinners I had in NY.  You picked some of my absolute favorites.  Here are some thoughts to help you narrow down your decision.

    California Grille is Disney's flagship signature dining experience.  The menu is fresh, creative and changes frequently.  The view and wine list are amazing.  However, if you have already eaten here, I'd recommend giving another restaurant or two a try.  Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is fantastic.  The Lodge is spectacular, with what I believe, is the most impressive lobby at Disney.  Their signature dish is a plank-roasted salmon, and they also serve a wonderful filet, scallops, duck and even buffalo.  The Artist Point berry cobbler is heaven!  If you opt for steak at Artist Point, I would chose Brown Derby over Yachtsman Steakhouse.  The Disney Moms have made a tradition at dining at Brown Derby pretty much every time a few of us get together!  We've based our decision on a number of wonderful meals here.  Some "Moms Panel Favorites" include the cobb salad, salmon, and grouper.  Our dessert recommendations usually include their signature grapefruit cake and flourless chocolate cake.  Another favorite signature restaurant among the "Moms" is Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Their unique menu and impressive South African wine list makes this another culinary front runner!

    Whichever you chose, have a wonderful meal!
