Hey there! Hi there! Jessica, I am happy to see you back at planDisney, and your vacation is now so close. All the work and planning, and you are just a few sleeps away from being able to
Let it Go! and immerse in the moment. Cross the gates to the
Most Magical Place on Earth, and there'll be music. There'll be light. And with
Happily Ever After, you'll be dancing through the night.
When I use a Disney dining plan, I am hyper-focused on maximizing my snack credits. The treats at
Karamell-Küche in
EPCOT and
Sleepy Hollow in
Magic Kingdom Park top my list. The Mickey Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas and Berries can turn a snack credit into a meal. Enjoying this breakfast in the shadow of
Cinderella Castle—perfection!
With the
Disney dining plans, beverages are included with each meal. According to the policy, Guests under 21 may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic drinks, and Guests 21 and older with valid identification may substitute for beer, wine and cocktails. Also, officially, meals are nontransferable between party members.
I appreciate your question, as my teens only drink water. (I can't even get them to try a carbonated beverage.) So, I asked a Cast Member. The direction I got was while you are welcome to ask a server at your restaurant, they don't believe you will be able to use the drink from your child's dining plan to order an alcoholic beverage.
As much as I love snacks, I am always equally as enthusiastic about
Mobile Food Ordering on the
My Disney Experience app. It saves so much time when you can create your order while waiting in line for an attraction. It also pairs perfectly with the Disney dining plan. When building your order, it asks if you want to use the dining plan credits to pay for the items. The app, actually, is how I learned I could get a margarita in
Satu'li Canteen with my Quick Serve meal credit. I love the
Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl. Using the app, I added an Ilu Splash Margarita and saw it was added as the beverage for my meal credit. Delicious! My friend
Candace would tell you to add the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse to your cart. It's not included in the meal, but some things are worth melting for. (And she's right! This dessert is as tasty as it is gorgeous.)
Jessica, I hope this information helps. With all the steps you take on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, having a strategy to fuel your body and mind is crucial. If you have any other questions or want more great Disney dining plan recommendations,
planDisney is here like a crazy trust exercise.
There'll be Magic! There'll be Fun!
