For the DDP are 'non-alcoholic beverages' limited to fountain type drinks or do the include smoothies, shakes and frozen drinks as well? Also can a smoothie be purchased by itself as a snack credit if not dining in?

    Hi Danielle,

There's no blanket rule when it comes to the use of dining plan credits for smoothies and other frozen drinks.  However, my family has been given the option to order a chocolate milkshake and other non-fountain beverages as the drink included in our counter and table service meals many times.  Just ask the server to confirm whether a particular beverage is covered.  And yes, you may use snack credits to purchase smoothies and other frozen, non-alcoholic beverages.

The only beverages that are almost universally excluded from purchase with dining plan credits are alcoholic beverages or the ones that come with glow cubes in them.

If you have any additional questions about using your Disney Dining Plan credits, just ask!  I love using the Disney Dining Plan to sample the great food at Walt Disney World.  It's a wonderful way to control your food budget while on vacation.

    Cheers!
