If we are on DDP and go to a character buffet for breakfast, is everyone on the plan charged a meal credit whether they eat or not? For example, could parents simply pay OOP for a cup of coffee while only kids eat? Thx for all the great information!

    Hi, Alyssa!

At locations where it is an all-you-can-eat buffet, or the meals are served all-you-care-to-eat family style, each guest at your table must pay for a meal (except for kids age 2 or younger who may share off the plate of an adult for free).  The good thing is that buffets are extensive and everyone is sure to find something tasty!

My best advice is if you are not breakfast eaters, schedule your dining for lunch or dinner, show up hungry and enjoy!  Have a great time at the character buffets and say "HI" to all the Disney pals for me!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
