We are on the DDP. When we eat at table service restaurants, will we get a bill that tells us what our meal would have cost so that we can know how much to tip or should we just try to estimate the total when looking at the menu?

    Hi Melinda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I hope you are getting excited about your upcoming trip, it will be here before you know it!

At the end of your table service meals, you will be presented with the "check".  Your check will consist of an itemized listing of your bill and will include the prices of the items you ordered for your meal even if you are using the Disney Dining Plan to pay for it.  If you purchased items not included on the Dining Plan (ex: alcoholic drinks, etc...), you will have those items presented on the same check.  At the bottom of the bill will be a place for you to add in your tip.  Usually there are two suggested amounts of 18% and 20% listed if you would like to choose from those amounts; however the amount of your tip is always up to you.

Thank you for your question Melinda!  Please let us know if you have any more Disney vacation planning questions.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
