Do you have to use your DDP each day or can you "bank" some for another day?

    Hello again, Christine!

    This is a great question!

You are absolutely correct in your ability to "bank" dining entitlements while on a Disney Dining Plan. Upon check-in, you'll be given a print-out which shows you how many Table Service entitlements, Quick Service entitlements and Snack entitlements are on your account, all of which will remain on your account until you use them up, with any balance remaining expiring at midnight on the day of your check-out.

This means that your schedule can be very flexible, allowing you to use three Table Service entitlements in one day, should you wish to do so, or only dine at Quick Service locations on a day. Your snacks can be used as you please as well, which we really love, since we allow each child to pick a portable snack item or two a couple of days into our trip; this allows us to keep a special treat in the room for a mid-day snack or late-night craving, without having to go back out to get it!

In fact, at the end of our stays, we often plan to have one last fabulous Table Service meal or even sandwiches and salads wrapped up to-go, should we have a departure day that calls for such a meal. Spare snack credits are usually spent on our last night or day at Goofy's Candy Company at Downtown Disney, where you'll find fantastic items such as custom-made chocolate-covered pretzel logs, oversized caramel patties, chocolate-covered turtles and so much more...all for the "price" of a snack. We wrap them up as sweet reminders of our days in WDW, bringing a smile to our faces once we're back home and craving something special.

The flexibility of the Dining Plan has made my entire family adventurous diners, too; we just love it!

Send more questions about any aspect of your trip, Christine! I love to help!
