Hi Christine,
Welcome to planDisney! Character dining is a must-do for my Walt Disney World vacations. Where else can you say hi to Mickey Mouse or Stitch as you enjoy a delicious meal?
You can visit the
Dining page on the Walt Disney World website and filter by “Disney Dining Plan,” location, and character dining options. If you click on a restaurant, you can then click “View Dining Plans and Discounts” to see more details about how many credits each location uses. I narrowed down the options based on your criteria and listed the current offerings.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is not a character meal, but the site shows that it uses 1 Disney Dining Plan credit for lunch and dinner.
The following restaurants use 1 Disney Dining Plan credit:
- 1900 Park Fare- breakfast and dinner
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall- breakfast
- Cape May Café- breakfast and dinner
- Chef Mickey’s- breakfast and dinner
- The Crystal Palace- breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Garden Grill Restaurant- breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Hollywood & Vine- breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- ‘Ohana- breakfast and dinner (characters only appear at breakfast)
- Topolino’s Terrace- breakfast (only breakfast has characters)
- Tusker House Restaurant- breakfast, lunch, and dinner
These locations use 2 Disney Dining Plan credits:
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall- lunch and dinner
- Cinderella’s Royal Table- breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White- dinner
I hope this helps with deciding your dining selections, Christine.
Disney Dining Plan offerings are subject to change, so I encourage you to check the site before
booking your dining reservations. If you have any more questions, please come back to see us at
