Hi, Lacey!
You have not seen picky eaters and special orders until you meet my family. We need things plain, no this, no that and "on the side" is very popular when we order just about anything!
You will need to ask your server at each location about what substitutions can be made with your meal. For example, recently at a
Magic Kingdom restaurant we were able to substitute a side of potatoes for a side of pasta. As long as it is a comparable substitution, usually it will be fine. I would not ask for a side of shrimp in lieu of coleslaw, but I think you get how this goes!
There are times when substitutions are not allowed, as stated on the menu. This is more common when ordering from a "prix fixe" menu selection where the whole meal is planned out for you. I see this option mostly on specialty menus, so nothing really to worry about.
Simply inquire with your server who will be happy to accommodate as much as possible. They will try to get you the meal that will make you the happiest! And remember to make your
Dining Reservations so you can dine at all your
favorite restaurants.
Bon Appetit!
Cathy
