DD turns 16 on 12/11. We leave 12/9 at 1:30 pm. She does not know. Plan is to have her get up for school as normal, then when she goes back to her room after her shower, we plan on taping "something" to her mirror" - suggestions? Itinerar

    Hi Denise,

What a fun surprise!!!  I hope you can pull it off - I would end up blurting it out somewhere along the line.

How to present it?  Well, you could tape a boarding pass to the mirror.  Or, they make markers specifically for writing on windows/mirrors that wash off easily with window cleaner.  Why not write, "Smile, you're going to Disney World!!!", or something like that.  You could draw Mickey ears and balloons.

Do you have a plush Mickey?  He could be sitting on the dresser holding a birthday card or a balloon.

Hope this helps.  Have fun with the surprise, and have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
