My DD will turn 13 during our trip next year. Would love ideas on a special bday souvenir for her. I know we can get bday mickey ears... but would love some other ideas as well.

    Hello Lisa,

What better way to welcome in the teen years than a magical trip to Walt Disney World. I am sure the special memories created with and for her will last for years to come.

I would suggest letting her pick out a beautiful piece of jewelry, such as a necklace, bracelet or watch. There are so many unique charms or pendants, some of which are also studded with Swarovski crystals. Several locations throughout the parks even have charm bracelets that can be customized to the guest's liking.

Another fun idea might be to get her silhouette done on Main Street or in Liberty Square and have it framed for her bedroom. In the past, I had one done with my kids' silhouettes along with Mickey's.

There are also different kiosks throughout the parks that offer caricatures that can be personalized with some of her favorite activities. She could have one done with Mickey Ears on, the Castle in the background, while she is doing her favorite sport or activity and then have the artist make note of her 13th birthday somehow.

I hope this offers some unique ideas for you to consider to commemorate her special day. Happy early birthday to her.
