DH, DS, DD and me in a room. DH is 6'4, DS is 6'3 and 18, DD is 16. Stayed at BWI in 2012, wondering if a moderate would be comfortable sleeping based off size or age or should we stick with deluxe?

    Hi Casey,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Glad to know that you are coming back for more quality time with your family at WDW. It is nice be able to stay at the deluxe resorts. If money isn’t an issue, I would never be in doubt. But, the reality is that money matters, right? I’ve stayed at three of the moderate resorts and I can tell you, honestly, that the accommodations are nice. My favorite moderate resort is Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and I love to stay at Casitas area. You can read a great review about those resort, even mentioning the better locations to stay and rooms to ask for at Touring Plans. You have to try it once to see it for yourself.  I’ve recently stayed at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and we loved.  It’s a nice and spacious option for your family too. The money that you will save could be useful for a fancy restaurant at Disney like at California Grill, a dessert party for you guys or a special tour.

    Have a magical day!
