DD has nut allergies and I've read that BOG has desserts that she may be able to have! Could we drop in at lunch just for dessert? A nut free cupcake would be a great treat for her! Thanks so much!

    Hi Lynn,

I so love the desserts at Be Our Guest, and not a single one contains nuts.

My favorites are the triple chocolate and the strawberry cream cheese cupcakes, but you also can choose a lemon meringue cupcake, a chocolate cream puff, a passion fruit cream puff and a gluten-free lemon raspberry cream puff.

Be Our Guest addresses allergy issues incredibly well. If you look at the Be Our Guest menu and click on "Show Detail" of each item, you will see nutritional information and potential allergens in each dish. When you place your order at the touch screen stations at the restaurant at lunch, you can enter your allergies and any item that contains those ingredients will disappear from the screen.

During the quick service lunch, you are welcome to come in to order dessert only if you want, and you can still sit and enjoy the surroundings. Just know that you will wait in the same line as those who are ordering a full meal.

As long as you are waiting anyway, I'd recommend having a full meal. I think it's among the best counter service food at Walt Disney World. If you just want dessert, I'd suggest that you go mid-afternoon to try to avoid a long wait.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
