HI! My dd has nut allergies. We have been so happy at table service meals in the past. My Q. is, do you know of any quick serve/nut free places to eat? Also, I'd love to know if there are any ice cream/candy shops that offer nut free alternatives. THANX!

Hi Lynn! The nut allergies are always the toughest to deal with when traveling. Disney appreciates these challenges for the families and does everything they can to help alleviate the stress behind the dining.

No matter if you are at a table service location or a quick service one you will be able to see the ingredients for all the foods and drinks they offer. Simply ask the cast member for the food notebook or better yet ask to see the manager on duty who can help you through the decisions. Since many foods use nuts in their preparation it is best not to guess but instead double check with the master ingredient list.

This would also be the case for the sweet shops such as on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the great caramel shop in Germany in Epcot. You will find candy that does not include nuts but you will want to discuss the preparation of these foods with the cast managers to be sure there is no cross contamination. Always better to be safe then sorry when it comes to food allergies!
