DH, DD (3.5), myself, & my parents will be going to WDW next May. Trying to decide on 1 rm at Polynesian or 2 rms at an All-Star resort (possibly a moderate depending on rates when they're released- $ being the issue). Any recommendations?

Hi, Beth Ann!  While I love the rooms at the Polynesian, having 4 adults and a child share one room with one bathroom is a bit too tight for me!   I would rather stay at a Value or Moderate and have plenty of space to spread out and each family can have their own bathroom.

When we travel with my parents, we always try to get connecting rooms so my kids can run between the rooms, and if your little princess falls asleep early, you can visit with your parents to talk or watch TV.

You will need to decide what will work best for your family, but when my family travels, we always opt for a second room, even if it means going from a Deluxe to a Value or Moderate.  We really like all the resorts at all price levels, so for use we really aren't "giving up" anything except maybe the convenience of the being on the monorail.   Family favorites:  Value - All-Star Music   Moderate - Port Orleans French Quarter.

Good luck deciding and wishing your family a magical WDW vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
