DD9 & I have never been to MVMCP before going 12/5 – yeah! Is it better to see the later parade after the fireworks? Do you manage to get in any rides with all the other fun activities going on that night? There is so much to do and so little time.

    Hi Cynthia,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is super fun! You & your DD will have a blast! A plan of action timing it with the scheduled events will help you maximize your time & get the most out of this event.

I just saw a map of the attractions & special events for this year's party. Here is the schedule of special events:
    • Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade (8:15 & 10:30 p.m. - the 2nd parade is less crowded)
    • Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season (10:30 p.m.)
    • A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show (7:45, 8:45, 9:55, 10:50 & 11:45 p.m.)
    • Celebrate the Season Show on the Castle Forecourt Stage (7:45, 10:05 & 11:20 p.m)
    • Two character dance parties (at the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland & Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland)
    • Special character meet & greets throughout the park held 7 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. - locations will be marked on your Special Guide Map. There are usually some characters out that aren't always available at other times & we love taking advantage of getting pictures with them
Not all of the attractions are operating during MVMCP but you'll find that the most popular ones will be open. I don't have enough room to list them all in this answer. Visit me again & I'll be happy to list them out for you or let me know if you have any questions about specific attractions.

When my family attends MVMCP, we pick 2 or 3 attractions we want to do the most & then spend the other time focusing more on the special events that we can't see or do any other time of the year.

Wishing you many magical holiday memories :-) Allison
