Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela! Thrill rides are my grade-schooler’s favorite types of rides. From Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to Test Track, he’s always wanting to take the fast seat to fun. Since your daughter is a tween, I think she may feel the same way!
Of course,
Test Track and Seven Dwarfs are great “testers” for thrills to make sure your kids are ready for a bigger trip like
Mission Space. Now featuring the GREEN mission (a milder, non-spinning trip) orbiting the Earth in outer space. You won’t spin at all on the green mission, but may feel little bumps and sways much like a super-light ride simulator. This new green mission is extremely mild, yet you will be enclosed in a 4-person spaceship cabin, which is a closed in space. Sadly, there are no non-moving seats, but if you can handle a carousel’s light moves then I think the Green mission would be a great choice. You can always try to look up reviews or ride POVs on the web, I find that helps you really see what to expect, if you don’t mind spoilers. If your daughter loves space, she’ll want to travel through time to the interior of the top of
Spaceship Earth, the attraction inside the great Epcot “ball.” It’s lovely to be surrounded by stars and the sight of the great blue earth!
If I can help you plan other far-out activities during your family vacation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
