Hello, Julie!
As a mom to a son with special needs, I understand how important it is to maximize your park touring time. Our little Jedi can handle about five hours in the parks before we see start to see his Dark Side.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) Card is designed for those who are unable to wait in a regular queue. The recipient will obtain a return time to visit an attraction so that they can wait in a quiet area, grab a bite to eat or visit another attraction. You can request a DAS Card at any theme park Guest Relations Lobby. Just let the Cast Member know your daughter's needs so that she can receive the best accommodation for her situation.
As you continue to plan, you may want to look at
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities. You will find suggestions for preparing for your vacation, essential items to pack, as well as information about stroller rental, companion restrooms and dietary accommodations.
I hope this helps to answer your question about the Disability Access Service. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Have a magical day!
Missy
