DD & I have food allergies. In Oct, going to MNSSHP + F&W for first time. Any ingredient info available to read now so that we can plan ahead? Trying to avoid waiting in long lines to only find out we can't have some of the yummy treats, esp. at

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is my favorite special event at Walt Disney World Resort! I love being able to try all of the different foods and drinks from around the World. While my husband and I have been together in the past, this will be our first year attending with our children. Since my son has multiple food allergies, enjoying the festival is going to be different than in the past as we need to be sure that everything he eats is safe for him. Unfortunately, ingredients list for any food booths at Walt Disney World Resort, including the festival booths, are not published online. You will need to ask the Cast Members at the location for the ingredients list to ensure the offered food is safe. This will ensure that you have the latest ingredient information before you order. In my experience, Cast Members, Chefs and Managers are always really concerned about making sure my son has a safe, enjoyable and tasty vacation!

I think the best way you could help you and your daughter have a good experience at the festival is to visit it during times when it is less busy. I would recommend attending during the week; the weekends are generally more busy with local Guests. Lines will be shorter right at 11:00 a.m., right when the festival opens. You may also find shorter lines around 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., in the lull between lunch and dinner. Finally, I recommend you check out all of the information on Special Dietary Requests at Walt Disney World Resort. The Special Diets Cast Members have been able to provide me some fantastic information on accommodating specific food allergies at Walt Disney World Resort.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
