My DH , DD, father and I will be staying at the campgound Oct 24-30. We want to take the Haunted Carriage ride. Is it too scary for a 1 year old?

    Hi Amanda!

I can’t say from personal experience if the Haunted Carriage Ride will be too scary for your baby, but I have heard in detail what the ride is all about.  My son (2) is fearless it seems, so I wouldn’t hesitate to take him on it.  He loves the Haunted Mansion ride and the characters don’t bother him.  We’ve been taking him to ride the Haunted Mansion since he was an infant.  My best friend’s daughter is very skittish with everything and always has been.  She is too afraid to visit the characters or even get close.  It’s up to you to determine if your little one will be ok with it or not.  If you want to spoil yourself, here is a video of the ride so you can see a little bit of what goes on.  It is from 2006, so it’s possible the tour has changed since then, but you can get the gist of how scary it can be.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lGhwZhjhsw&feature=related

    Have a magical day!
