Hi Melissa!
You and your daughter will be leaving soo soon! I will be in Disney World at the same time - be sure to say hi if you recognize me! (I am just so famous that I am recognized everywhere I go - ha ha!)
All right, on to your questions. All of the rooms in Disney World come equipped with a coffee maker; however, you are welcome to bring your own. Also, we love to eat at the Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom - it is ALWAYS less crowded than the one in Downtown Disney. You don't even need to enter the park to eat there! Animal Kingdom will be open until 7:00 PM that night and you may find that you can experience quite a bit that day. The next day, if you are anything like my family, you will want to head to the Magic Kingdom. This is the heart of Disney World and it is a great place to kick off your trip! I know that this sounds a little crazy, but the quickest way to get to your ADR at T-REX in Downtown Disney is to take the bus to the Saratoga Springs Resort and then grab a bus over to your destination. This should take around 30-45 minutes. We cannot wait to try this brand new restaurant!!!
For your remaining days, I suggest playing it by ear. Since it is just the two of you, you have the freedom to hop from park to park at any time. I would plan of visiting a water park somewhere towards the middle of your trip - I think that your daughter would have the most fun at Blizzard Beach, as it is great for "tweens." Have your daughter check out the photos and menus on
AllEarsNet.com and try and include her in the decision making. I just know that the two of you will have a great girl's getaway!
Much pixie dust,
Jackie S.
