DD 15 & 12 are considering a girls trip with me. Trying to decide between POFQ or POR - Royal Room. Was hoping you could help sway our decision

Hello, Cheryl, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm so happy to hear you're planning a girls trip with your daughters, you're in for many Unforgettable Happens Here memories!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside featuring the unique Royal Guest Rooms is a delightful resort offering stately theming of white-columned mansions as well as quaint backwoods cottages. The Royal Guest Rooms are intricately themed and I greatly enjoyed my stay and spent many hours hunting for those little "royal" details, of which there are many. Nothing beats the special headboards where with a touch of a button you'll experience twinkly fireworks displays any time your heart desires. These rooms are an easy walk across the river to the main building (dining, gift shop, front lobby, food court, main pool, and restaurant).

Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter evokes walking through the cozy, cobble-stoned streets of New Orleans and what I enjoyed at this Resort hotel during my stay was how easy it was to navigate my way around and eating those delicious Beignets! Guest rooms are within close proximity to the main building (dining, gift shop, front lobby, transportation, food court, main pool, and restaurant).

Staying at either of these Disney Resort hotels would afford you all benefits and both are within an easy walk of each other as you stroll along the picturesque Sassagoula River.

May I offer Disney's Planning for Older Kids,Tweens, and Teens online resource in preparation for your vacation.

    Best Wishes!
    Jacqueline
