My DD-16 and I coming in Nov for our second trip. staying at POP. when we made res preferred rooms sold out for free dining. hoping to be able to upgrade by calling again to see if any cancels, where are best rooms to request for pool/bus/cafe if unable?

    Hi Kimberly,

My family stays at Pop Century often, and one of the things we love about it is the manageable size. We always stay in a standard room there. Our favorites for theme and convenience are any rooms in the '50s section, particularly Building 3. The non-preferred rooms in the '70s also are near Classic Hall, which has the food court and bus stop.

The only buildings I find somewhat inconvenient are those in the '80s and '90s. I try to avoid Building 7 and Building 8 if I can. Even those, however, are closer to essential services than parts of other larger resorts.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can offer any other assistance as you plan your stay at the Walt Disney World resort. Enjoy!
