Me, DH, DS3, DD2 want to bring my parents when we come next year. Mom is diabetic and will use a wheelchair. What are the odds that we'd get connecting rooms so I can help my father take care of her? Staying at Pop. Would we be better in a Music Suite?

    Hi Christina!

I understand your need to be situated near your parents while on your trip. You can make requests for adjoining rooms when you book your reservations. In addition, I suggest you call the resort within the week leading up to your arrival date to confirm your requests have been noted. I've noticed cast members are always friendly and helpful and they seem to genuinely try to grant requests. There is probably a good chance you'll find yours are granted, but of course there is no full proof guarantee that this will be the case. (I'll wish for some extra pixie dust for you so that it is!)

A Family Suite at the All Star Music Resort would ensure the connecting rooms, but I would consider the sleeping arrangements to be certain this is a comfortable option for your family. In a Family Suite, there is one room with a queen bed. The second room acts like a living area in the day, and includes a double sleeper sofa, twin sleeper chair, and a twin ottoman. Perhaps this fits your needs and is a great alternative to requesting the two rooms at Pop Century. The cost is typically reasonable when compared to two value resort rooms, too; and you'll have a kitchenette as an added perk.

Hope this helps. Feel free to come back to the Moms Panel if you have more questions.
