DD age 12 and me for a mother/daughter trip to WDW in November...still can't decide between AoA LM rooms and the Royal rooms at POR. Are the Royal rooms the "preferred" rooms at POR? Would like to be close to main building.

    Hi Jennifer,

Staying in a Royal room at Port Orleans sounds like a perfect location for your mother/daughter getaway.  You'll feel like royalty in these beautiful rooms.  Although Art of Animation looks like a lot of fun, Port Orleans is my favorite moderate resort, and the Royal rooms make it my first choice.

The Royal rooms have different rates than the regular rooms at Port Orleans.  They are slightly more expensive; however, the location is good.  Royal rooms are located in two buildings: Oak Manor and Parterre Place.  Oak Manor is quite close to the main building.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
