Welcome aboard planDisney! It looks like you’re planning for a Very Merrytime sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy and thinking ahead about the perfect pre-cruise hotel. I love that you’re planning this part of the adventure in advance because getting to Port Canaveral is much easier when you already know how you’ll make your way there.
Unfortunately, Disney does not currently offer ground transfer services from hotels in the Cocoa Beach area. Disney does partner with the
Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront if you would like to give Disney Cruise Line a call to book, but there are not currently Disney ground transfers available from this hotel. The good news is that the hotel works with a third-party shuttle service, and if you decide to stay there, the hotel can help you coordinate transportation for you and your crew.
If you’re really looking to take advantage of the convenience that comes with
Disney’s ground transfers, you might consider a stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. It may not give you that toes-in-the-sand Cocoa Beach experience, but its location right at the airport makes transportation simple. You could even rent a car for the day and use it to explore Orlando before returning it at the airport.
Of course, you could also book a stay at one of the
Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Not only can you arrange Disney’s ground transfers from Disney Resort hotels, but you can turn your pre-cruise night into part of the vacation. You could explore one of the theme parks, visit Disney Springs, or simply enjoy one of the beautiful resorts before trading the castle for a cruise ship the next morning.
