Hi Ryah!
Welcome back to planDisney! I’m excited to hear you’re preparing for a land and sea vacation next month! We haven’t sailed on the
Treasure yet, but my family loves spending a little extra time at Walt Disney World before or after we set sail on a Disney Cruise.
I confirmed with a Cast Member that Disney Resorts can provide a diaper pail in your room, subject to availability. A request for a diaper pail cannot be placed before you arrive at the Resort; you’ll need to speak to a Cast Member at the Front Desk to request one. During a recent visit, my family received a Resort Guide for Families with Kids as part of
Cool Kid Summer. The Guide listed several other complimentary amenities you can request from the Front Desk, like a bottle warmer and sterilizer, infant-sized bathtub, stroller storage, and a travel crib or Pack ‘n Play.
Don’t forget to look for the schedule of recreation and entertainment activities at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. During my family’s stay at the Polynesian last month, my kids enjoyed evening lawn games near the Great Ceremonial House before we returned to our room for an early bedtime. Now, since you’re staying at the Polynesian, I highly recommend staying up later one night to watch the
Electrical Water Pageant and
Happily Ever After from the beach. My kids were mesmerized by the lights, music, and fireworks, and now watching the shows from our Resort is a staple of our family vacations.
I hope this helps, Ryah! If you have any more questions about
Walt Disney World or
Disney Cruise Line, we’re here to help you at
planDisney!
