Our 1st DCL is Disney Dream in May! It's 3 nite to Bahamas. We have a 6 y/o son. Booked excursion to Atlantis Aquaventure, but now thinking it's 2 pricey. If we cancel, are there enough activities for him on the boat all day? Is there room in pool to play?

    Hi Christiane!

EEP!  Your first Disney cruise?!?!  You are going to have soooo much fun, and your little prince is not going to want to get off the ship...ever!

The Atlantis Aquaventure is pretty cool, but I completely understand where you're coming from.  I spend my life on a budget!  If you decide to cancel your port adventure don't worry about your son not having enough to do to stay busy and happy.  In fact, you'll be booking a seven night Disney cruise when you get off (or while you're still on) the ship!  He will have the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, both of which are extraordinary!  You can start booking your spa treatments now because he'll never want to leave the clubs, and you'll have tons of free time.  There is plenty of room to play in Nemo's Reef, Donald's Pool, Mickey's Pool, and the ultra fabulous Aqua Duck

Remember Christiane, there is a lot to do and see ON the ship, so don't worry about running out of things to do....you may just run out of time to see and enjoy everything!  Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.  I'm wishing you a very magical sailing.  Bon voyage!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
