Hello, Karen, and welcome to
planDisney!
Thank you for bringing this excellent question to planDisney, it would be my pleasure to offer my assistance today to help you begin planning your magical voyage.
Karen, while temporary measures were set in place during these recent unprecedented times. At this time
Disney Cruise Line operational guidelines and measures are slowly returning to their previous levels.
Deposits are required within a certain timeframe to confirm a reservation, usually 24 hours, and the amount of the deposit will be set forth at the time of booking. The deposit amount is typically determined by the length of the cruise. Please be aware that these terms and conditions are always subject to change, as we have seen with the current,
Disney Cruise Line - Temporary Final Payment Policy which will expire in the near future.
Karen, regarding cruise cancellation fees, these too, depend on the length of sailing, types of stateroom categories and categories with restrictions. Kindly refer to
Disney Cruise Line’s – Terms and Conditions for Residents of the United States for all aspects of booking a cruise, such as deposits, exact cancellation dates and fee amounts, and other pertinent information. Guests with existing reservations now have the ability to make modifications or cancellations through their Disney Cruise Line account online or via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Please note that cancellation fees may apply.
Therefore, my best advice is to read your cruise terms and conditions, your remaining final balance and the final payment due date that will be clearly stipulated in your Disney Cruise Line email reservation confirmation that will be sent to you as soon as you book your cruise.
For further clarification or direction, please
contact Disney Cruise Line to speak with a Cast Member who will be able to access and view your reservation and offer you direct assistance.
Karen, another method of accessing your cruise details and plans is by using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, or by signing into your Disney Cruise Line account online. On the app, please select the
View Reservations button on your Home Page, tap on the white button that will display your Stateroom number and then when you see your cruise countdown, scroll to
Next Steps to view your details. Online, sign in to your Disney Cruise Line account and then beneath the
Already Booked tab on the far right, select
My Reservations from the dropdown to view your cruise details which will also outline the date that you will be able to book
Port Adventures and
Onboard Activities.
Karen, I hope you find this information helpful. Please feel free to stop by planDisney once you’ve booked your cruise so we can assist you further to enhance your experience.
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
