Hi there, Anthony!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I bet you are eagerly anticipating your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation and you definitely should be -- I always think cruising in early fall is the perfect time of year to hit the high seas! I am sure you have already seen all the adventures you can take once you arrive at port with the incredible
Port Adventures team, but if not, now is the time do so!
I am so glad you stopped by with your question about booking future Disney Cruise Line vacations while onboard! I love that you are thinking ahead and exploring all the
incredible itineraries that Disney Cruise Line has scheduled through 2020. With a variety of destinations, voyage lengths and themed cruises, you are guaranteed to have a different experience with each voyage you take! Unfortunately, you can only book one placeholder while onboard, but they will allow you to book additional voyages – just not with the onboard booking specials attached to them. I know you mentioned reserving a placeholder, but I would recommend booking the exact voyage you plan to go on (if you know which one it is) because from my experience, the farther out you book the reservation, the better rate you will get! So, if you know exactly when you want to sail, go ahead and book that one. It can always be changed or adjusted, if necessary, but it will guarantee you the best rate by booking farther out! If you happen to be sailing early in 2020, you can always wait and book another reservation for late 2020 on that voyage if you want to get full advantage of all the
onboard booking benefits.
Anthony, please come back with all your planning questions as you prepare for this upcoming adventure and all those you have in mind for 2020!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
