Hey there Chad! Thank you for stopping by to ask about details of your return trip to the Orlando Airport after your magical Disney Cruise. What a great question. Although I don't love thinking about my time at sea coming to an end, I guess it is smart to be prepared, huh?
The good news is, even though you may be leaving the comfort of the ship, where you were excellently taken care of every minute of the day, the service doesn't end if you've booked
ground transportation with Disney. The entire process, from start to finish, is smooth and easy.
As you debark the ship in Port Canaveral, you'll pick up any luggage that is waiting for you at the terminal and proceed outside. From there you'll see the Disney Cruise Line buses to your left with well-marked signage directing you to your desired destination. In your case, that would be "Orlando Airport". Check in with the Crew Member who'll take care of your bags and get you on the next bus, which is usually ready to ride. No set schedule!
I love taking advantage of ground transportation with Disney. It feels like an extension of my vacation, because everything is all taken care of for me, just like on the ship. And I can squeeze in a few more moments of magic, when I get to watch Disney classics or play some Disney trivia during my ride!
Remember, though, you do need to have made a reservation in advance for a spot on the bus. You can easily do this either through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App under your reservation options, or on the Disney Cruise Line website under Already Booked > Ground Transportation. If you only need one-way transportation, you must
call Disney as the default selection online is round-trip.
Okay! That should get you on your way, Chad! What an amazing adventure you have ahead of you. Some of my family's fondest memories are from our time with Mickey and Pals aboard a Disney Cruise and I sincerely wish you the most magical voyage.
