Ahoy there, Lisa!
I see you’re preparing for a magical adventure at sea, and it sounds like your voyage is setting sail on April Fools’ Day! Don’t worry, though—I’m not here to play tricks on you. I promise this answer is 100% no strings attached (Geppetto would be proud). Consider this answer more like a Bibbidi Bobbidi bottle of helpful information!
If you’d like to bring your favorite wine or sparkling wine onboard,
Disney Cruise Line allows Guests aged 21 and over to carry up to two bottles (750 ml or smaller) or six beers (12 ounces or smaller) per person when boarding the ship or returning from a port of call. Now, if you decide to uncork that bottle in one of the main dining rooms, there is currently a
$29 corkage fee per bottle. To save on the fee, you can enjoy your wine in the comfort of your stateroom—or take it along as you explore the ship’s stunning décor and see how many Hidden Mickeys you can discover!
Speaking of good times, I’ve got a tip that’s no joke! One of my absolute favorite activities on any Disney cruise is Bingo. The Cast Members bring so much energy to each session, and whether you win big or just enjoy the excitement, it’s always a highlight of our trips. I also love grabbing my trusty Disney Cruise Line beer mug, which you can pre-purchase through “
Onboard Gifts.” It’s a great way to save a little pixie dust, offering 21-ounce refills at 16-ounce prices. Combining Bingo and a beer mug is my ultimate winning strategy—well, at least for fun!
Wishing you smooth seas, magical memories, and maybe a lucky Bingo jackpot to toast your wine or beer!
Sea ya real soon with pixie dust, ocean breezes, and no April Fools’ surprises,
Dustin
