DCL booked Feb 27. Staying at Hyatt night before dep. What time does bus pick us up on day of cruise? What time will we get to ship? Staying at POP one night after cruise. How long a drive? What time will we arrive at resort? How quickly can we get to MK?

    Hi Danielle,

Thank you for your question!  After years of flying in to Orlando the day of our cruise, I finally opted to try spending the night at the Hyatt and was not only extremely impressed, but very rested and relaxed by the time I boarded the ship!

As a guest at the Hyatt, you will be provided written instructions upon check-in regarding your departure for Port Canaveral the following day.  In my experience we have typically boarded the bus for Port Canaveral around 10:00 a.m. and arrived at the cruise terminal about 45 minutes later.  This of course, is subject to change based on departure dates and the anticipated number of transfers.

Once you disembark the ship at the end of your voyage (typically done before 9:00 a.m.), you can expect to arrive at your resort within about an hour (your bus may service more than one Walt Disney World Resort).  Since you will want to make the most of your visit to Walt Disney World, I highly suggest that you use online-check in prior to your departure for your cruise.  This will speed up the amount of time you spend checking in at your resort, and let you get on to the fun!

Transportation from Disney's Pop Century resort to the Magic Kingdom should take you anywhere from 25-45 minutes by bus.  Hope this helps, have a wonderful vacation!
