Welcome back, Tinter!
I'm so excited to hear that you will be attending the
Oogie Boogie Bash this week—it's a perfect kick-off to the Halloween season. The party has its cauldron filled to the brim with spellbinding fun, immersive treat trails, and chance encounters with some fabulous Disney Villains. Oogie Boogie has rolled out the red carpet, and you are going to love exploring California Adventure in a whole new way.
I can see you are still on the hunt for Chip 'n Dale! These mischievous chipmunks are always a delight, so I can understand wanting to ensure a meet and greet during your visit. While there are a host of characters at the Oogie Boogie Bash, I haven't seen any reports of them being in attendance specifically at the event. Of course, the rotating cast of characters can always be subject to change, and that being said, I do know of two places they have been spotted during this spooky season. Along with Mickey, Minnie, and some classic pals, Chip 'n Dale meet as a pair on Main Street in Town Square throughout the day. Currently, these friends are decked in Halloween looks inspired by their 70th Anniversary attire. While not in costume, specifically, they are dressed for the season! You can find out when and where they are meeting each day directly in the Disneyland app by pulling up the park map and choosing the "Characters" filter along the top.
Additionally, they are generally in the cast of characters you will meet at
Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. Goofy is celebrating Halloween, so all of his friends are in festive attire and bewitching costumes. Outside of the main Goof himself, characters can rotate. There is no guarantee you will meet Chip 'n Dale specifically, but I will say I have seen them almost every time I have dined there! I will wish upon a star that you're able to hug this adorable duo in just a few days!
I hope this has been helpful, Tinter! The Disney Parks Blog has put together both a comprehensive rundown of all the
characters you can meet during this happily haunted Halloween Time and at the
Oogie Boogie Bash, specifically. These are a great resource, and while you're doing a bit of research, I highly recommend checking out the
Halloween Time Foodie Guide so you can earmark your must-try sweets and treats!
