1st DC 9/19-9/23, 4 adults & DS 3 my ? is whats your best advice for disenbarking our cruise if we are planning on 1 day at MGM afterwards. I want to be able to get the most of our 1 day at DW MGM, as well as attend MNSSHP the same day.

    Hi Jamey,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, and congratulations on booking your first Disney Cruise!  If you are looking to get off the ship as quickly as possible, after eating a full breakfast - you will want to have the early dining time during your cruise.  Guests that have the 1st seating for dinner will have the earlier breakfast times on debarkation day.  Typically the dining times for 1st seating are between 6:30-7:00 a.m. whereas the 2nd dinner seating is assigned breakfast between 7:45-8:15 a.m.

Keep in mind that although you may be done breakfast bright and early, no one may disembark until the ship has been cleared by U.S. Customs - typically this happens around 7:30 a.m.

Once the ship has been given the all clear, guests may leave the ship at any time.    You will be directed after passing through customs to the appropriate ground-transportation loading point.  If all runs smoothly, you could be arriving at the parks as they open!

I hope this helps, have a wonderful vacation!
