15Days:-)Our Family(4)is Making a Trip to The World w My Parents(1st Visit!). Staying at WL and would like rooms next to each other on the highest floor available w/o the closed in balcony. Any room suggestions & when to make request w WL? Did note on

    Hi there, Amy!

    What a great countdown, right?

The Wilderness Lodge - like all hotels at Walt Disney World - will not assign rooms until check-in, This is to ensure that as many requests as possible are made, after assessing the current checkouts and checkins. However, the sooner you get your special requests in to the hotel, the easier it is for Cast Members to be aware of your desires.

The fact that you noted your request on your initial form is excellent.

At ten days out, you'll be invited to check in online. You can make requests at that time, too, and I would certainly reiterate your specifications.

And, of course, when you are at the check-in desk, make sure to remind the Cast Member that you have submitted at least two requests for particular rooms.

I would hesitate to offer any specific room suggestions; since you have two priorities (next door to your folks and highest floor available), I would allow the Cast Member to focus on making sure you get those. When you start to bring in locations and room numbers, your chances of getting exactly what you want may decrease based on current occupancy.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
