Hello, Patch! You and I are heading to
Walt Disney World close to the same time. I've just blocked my calendar and set an alarm for Monday morning, when my 60-day window opens for my trip in October. I am so excited about the fall decorations and all the seasonal treats coming to the parks.
Since you are staying at a
Walt Disney World hotel, you can make
dining reservations 60 days before your arrival date for each day of your trip (up to 10 nights). As you noted, with a vacation that starts on 04 October, you should be able to make dining reservations for the first 10 days starting on 05 August (today). I've never had the joy of spending more than 10 consecutive nights at the Most Magical Place on Earth, so I checked with a Cast Member about how to book Day 11, Day 12, etc. She let me know that with a trip beginning on 04 October, you can book reservations starting today for dining through 14 October. Then tomorrow you would book 15 October, and so on until the end of your trip.
As you look forward to your upcoming time in the magic, you may want to take a look at the
Disney Parks Blog. They just released an update on
The Beak and Barrel, which opens on 29 August. As a huge fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, I am ready to don an eye patch and enjoy some time with swashbuckling pirates. I also check out the
Foodie Guides, as I always plan my dining and snack strategy ahead of time.
Patch, I hope I understood your question and gave you the information you wanted. If not, please
follow up with me directly or any of my
planDisney friends. We're here to help!
Bon Appétit!
