Hi Eli, and welcome to planDisney!
I love that you're getting a head start on your planning! November will be here before you know it! In my opinion, there's truly no better place to celebrate Christmas than The Most Magical Place on Earth (though I may be biased). The festive cheer, combined with all the wonder at Walt Disney World Resort, is something you simply have to experience. I personally enjoy admiring the holiday decor and sampling seasonal treats. The Christmas trees at each theme park are gorgeous, and the Disney Resort hotels get a festive makeover too. Be sure to check out the
International Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT for even more holiday magic.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited-capacity, after-hours event where you can enjoy a spectacular holiday fireworks show and see your favorite characters in their festive best. Dates for this event haven't been released yet, but if they follow last year's trend, you should have a couple of options. Keep an eye on the
seasonal events section, as those dates will be announced and posted there; you should have plenty of time to decide what works best for you.
If you plan to visit
Magic Kingdom Park on a day with a special event and earlier park closing, I highly recommend it, although I can't guarantee lower wait times or smaller crowds. It's definitely worth considering. Guests often choose parks with full-day hours, so Magic Kingdom can sometimes feel a bit less crowded on these days. Before making your final decision, check the
My Disney Experience app for wait times during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to get a sense of what to expect in real time. Researching early gives you all the answers you need to make the best choice!
Eli, I hope all this information has been helpful, and, more importantly, I hope you have an absolutely magical time on your upcoming adventure! November is such an enchanting time to visit Walt Disney World. Please come back and see me if any other questions come up. You've got a friend in me!
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
