Which days of the week are the busiest at each Disney World Park?

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a tech geek and data geek, I gotta say I love your question. If I could know which theme parks are typically visited by most Guests on which days of the week, I'd be able to plan which parks to visit on which day of my stay. So, for example, and hypothetically speaking, if I knew that Disney's Hollywood Studios is most popular on Sundays, Disney's Animal Kingdom is most popular on Mondays, Magic Kingdom is most popular on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and so on, I could plan around that information. I think it's a really interesting question, and it's one that's influenced by seasons, holidays, school break vacations, times of the day, and so much more. While it's worth sharing that we get this type of "most crowded/least crowded" question frequently, and while it's worth noting that there are sites that specialize in this question, I think it's really helpful to consider the best planning steps for enjoying your theme park time. The steps I personally suggest always include staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel to plan on Extra Magic Hours, making your FastPass+ selections as soon as your time window opens, and using the My Disney Experience Mobile App to stay informed and manage your day-to-day plans around bus times, attraction wait times, park hours, FastPass+ availability, and dining. I always suggest a "plan, but don't over-plan" approach to making the most of the magic, meaning it's good to have a plan on the attractions, entertainment and dining experiences  you most want to enjoy, and then allow for all the spontaneous surprises and delights that await you.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
