    88 Days out for our 1st WDW trip with 2 boys 11&3...We Just Upgraded to AKL-Club Level from POR, Is it all it's cracked up to be or should I stay at a hotel a bit closer to all the parks? Does it take a long time to travel to the other parks from AKL?

    Thanks so much for writing. Animal Kingdom Lodge is an incredible property that affords you an unbelievable opportunity to see exotic wildlife during your stay.  If you have a chance to stay here, I would highly recommend it.  In addition to the savannas, the dining at the Lodge is some of the best on property.  Jiko, Boma and Sanaa are amazing dining venues and I would absolutely suggest any of them.  The concierge-level at any Disney Resort is amazing.  The daily snacks and beverages have helped my family save on dining in the parks and the lounges are a wonderful reprieve after a busy day in the parks.  As for travel time to the parks, I have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge many times.  Buses run consistently every 15-20 minutes, and are very reliable.  We've never been disappointed staying here, and I'm guessing you won't be either.  The ride to the parks (other than Animal Kingdom) are not significantly different from that at many other properties in my opinion, and certainly not a reason to stay somewhere else.  I hope you have a fantastic vacation!
